Roly-Poly

I can't believe it, but my baby just rolled over for the first time unassisted and without gravity helping. I'm crying over here. This is too fast!

Water Fun

Today Grant's work had their 2nd annual summer family party. They had the water slide and the dunk tank again--along with a ton of good food.
The kids loved the water slide, especially when Grant would go with them. And Grant had the privilege of being the first in the dunk tank. It was all in good fun, but his secretary (who is the best) only needed one shot to dunk him.
We had to leave early to get Trevor over to Nana and Papa's house. Papa was going to speak in a ward several hours away, and wanted a traveling companion since Nana couldn't go. Once we dropped him off, we decided to stay and swim. With all this hot weather, the water was amazing!

 Uh-Oh!!!!!

Party Time!

Lydia had a cooking party for her Birthday party this year. The kids made their own pizzas, played freeze dance, decorated a cupcake to eat and one to take home, and the pin-the-___ -on-the-____ this year was the cherry on the cupcake. They were a cute group of kids!

11-year old campout

Grant went with Trevor to his first campout. They had fun, even though they had some bad food on the way up there. They stayed dry and warm, and had fun spending time together.

Piper's Tricks

Piper was so proud of herself for this great big trick that she did. She climbed this HUGE hill. It was so huge she wanted me to take a picture. Good thing there is zoom on cameras otherwise I don't know if I would have been able to see her way up there:
Alright, so it's hugeness is in the eye of the beholder

Meeting Grandpa

My dad got to meet Miss Lucy for the first time today. She was all smiles with him. We had a great visit. I enjoyed hearing him tell stories about my Grandpa. I know that he loves him, and still looks up to him.

Scouts

Tonight in scouts Trevor earned his Tenderfoot class, and Ben earned several merit badges. I'm proud of their hard work. Trevor has the fire in him and wants to have his Eagle by the time he is 12 1/2. I love that he is excited about scouts.

Sparring

Since Ben's mountain biking group is over for the season, I finally got to go see Trev do his sparring. I, myself, would cry if I had to spar. He has a lot of fun though. And he has only used his mad sparring skills outside of TKD once--so that is good that he keeps himself in check (minus that one time when I was laughing so hard on the inside when he let it fly because the recipient of his jabs and kicks may have deserved it, but on the outside he got a stern talking to)

He's the one kicking in both pictures:

Wash, Dry, Fold, Repeat

Have you ever wondered what the result of folding 8 people's laundry looks like:

Racing

The girls and I raced the boys down to the gate. Flip flops and all, we won, but I think they might have given us a head start.
